So exciting to find out that Honey and Me was selected as one of the 2023 Notable Social Studies Trade Books Award Winners! The NOTABLE SOCIAL STUDIES LIST is “an annual reading list of exceptional books for use in social studies classrooms, selected by social studies educators.”
I absolutely loved doing an author visit and writing workshop with Years 5 and 6 at Naima JPS. They were enthusiastic, engaged, creative and super fun!
